Cassai Beach Restaurant

The architectural project for the restaurant was carried out with the aim of enhancing its usual services to the highest category, with the fundamental objective of increasing the gastronomic service offered and achieving an impact on customer satisfaction.
 
Gran Viobra's architectural design team wanted to create an aesthetic of intertwined spaces where the interior volume merges with its privileged exterior space.

By overlapping the volumes, a shared space is created, intertwining and maintaining each one of them its own identity.

A relaxing, summer-style atmosphere has been created, enhancing the incredible views of the small bay that forms the cove where this restaurant is located, giving prominence to the restaurant service that this establishment traditionally offered.

The entire floor fit-out was resolved by installing natural wood, treated for exteriors whose autoclave impregnation is achieved by means of the Bethell or full-cell system with a water-soluble salt protector that prevents woodworm or rot and generates a Class 4 protection.

Along with the floor, the interior ceilings of the venue were also lined in natural wood, which, together with the choice of aged white furniture in marine tones, creates a feeling of an old ship's interior that adapts perfectly to the holiday feeling and relaxation that the restaurant wanted to transmit.

As for lighting, large windows were opened up to the floor and a decorative lighting was proposed with blown glass lamps in the form of old boat buoys completely handmade, which give a continuity to the views of the Llauts (small traditional Mallorcan fishing boats) that you can see from the restaurant.

Thus the distribution of spaces is adapted to the client's needs. Considering the privileged location of the restaurant and the warm interior design with open but comfortable spaces, the whole project achieves a relaxed, serene and comfortable atmosphere.
