VENTILATED FACADE

The ventilated façade system consists of a supporting wall, an insulating layer and a cladding material that is fixed to the building with a load-bearing structure. Thanks to this structure, an air chamber is created between the supporting wall and the cladding material, which is not airtight and allows ventilation.

The ventilated façade is one of the most technically complete options for façade renovation. It is long-lasting, and is the best solution for thermal insulation in summer and winter.

Estimated cost:

The cost of this system is determined by the finishes to be used. For a standard solution of brick-coloured ceramic pieces and 8cm of rock wool thermal insulation, the refurbishment of a façade has an estimated cost (including the cost of renting, assembling and disassembling scaffolding) starting at €130/m², depending on the characteristics of the building, dimensions and finishes.

Energy savings on electricity bills:
    -  45% estimated savings in winter
    -  40% estimated savings in summer.

FACADE SATE system.

The SATE system consists of placing thermal insulation sheets (mineral wool) on the external face of the facade, glued to the wall. The system is finished with a coating of one or several layers of protection, one of which has a mesh for reinforcement. The recommended external cladding is undoubtedly acrylic mortar, due to its very high waterproofing and breathability. The façade will hardly get dirty and will be very resistant to the weather elements, maintaining its impermeability and colour over time..

Estimated cost:

The estimated cost of this system, for a standard solution using 8cm of thermal insulation and an acrylic finish, would be from €65/m² (including the cost of renting, assembling and dismantling scaffolding). This always depends on the characteristics of the building, dimensions and finishes.
